Does Arizona College of Nursing Accept Transfer Credits?
Yes, Arizona College of Nursing accepts transfer credits from accredited institutions. Students can progress through our BSN program in three years or less with qualifying general education transfer credits. Transfer credits could be a way to help you graduate in less time and at a lower cost, allowing you to begin your nursing career sooner.
Who is Eligible for Transfer Credits?
If you’ve started your nursing education at another accredited school, you might be able to transfer the general education credits to Arizona College of Nursing. To be eligible for transfer credit consideration, you must meet the following requirements:
- Institutional Accreditation: Your previous institution must be accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Grade Requirements: Transfer credit is granted only for General Education Science and Math courses with a letter grade of “B” or higher
How to Apply for Transfer Credit
To have your credits evaluated for transfer, you’ll need to submit official transcripts from your previous institution(s). Once official transcripts are received, approved transfer credits will be reflected on your institutional transcript.

Active service members and veterans may be eligible for transfer credit based on their military education and experience. College-Level Credit Test Scores
