Prior to becoming the Dean of Nursing at Arizona College of Nursing in 2026, Crystal held a variety of leadership and faculty roles in nursing education, including Dean of Nursing at Oregon Coast Community College, National Manager of Simulation Operations at Chamberlain College of Nursing, Director of Labs and Simulation at Grand Canyon University, Dean of Assessment at the University of Phoenix, and nursing faculty. Crystal’s work focuses on developing methods to engage students to reduce nursing student attrition, preparing nursing students for clinical practice, advancing simulation-based learning, and strengthening academic programs. Her clinical background is in the ER and Neuro-Trauma ICU.
As Dean of Nursing, Crystal manages the operations and support of the Core Nursing students and faculty.
