Abigail Fernandez serves as the Dean of General Education at Arizona College of Nursing – Dallas Campus. Prior to becoming Dean of General Education, she served in several academic leadership roles including Adjunct Professor, Full-Time Faculty, and Assistant Dean. After graduating from nursing school in 2019, Abigail began working in healthcare during the COVID-19 pandemic while also pursuing opportunities in education through local schools and higher education institutions. Through these experiences, she discovered a passion for both healthcare and education, which led her to continue growing within higher education leadership and instruction.

Her background in both healthcare and academics has given her a strong passion for student success, faculty development, and leadership within healthcare education. Abigail is dedicated to creating supportive learning environments and building meaningful connections with students through experience, mentorship, and relatability.

Dr. Calavetta brings a diverse background in education leadership, student support, and instructional development. Prior to joining Arizona College of Nursing, she served as an assistant principal and held district-level leadership roles in K–12 education, where she focused on student achievement, instructional support, and program development. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to creating opportunities for student success and promoting equitable access to education.

After joining Arizona College of Nursing in 2024, Dr. Calavetta served as a general education instructor at the Melbourne campus, working directly with students to strengthen the academic skills and confidence needed for success in nursing education. Her classroom experience provided valuable insight into the student journey and further strengthened her commitment to student-centered learning.

As Dean of General Education, Dr. Calavetta now leads the general education department at the Melbourne campus, supporting faculty, promoting academic excellence, and helping students build the strong educational foundation needed to thrive in their nursing careers. She is passionate about empowering students with the skills, confidence, and resilience necessary for long-term success.

Prior to becoming the Dean of Nursing at Arizona College of Nursing in 2026, Crystal held a variety of leadership and faculty roles in nursing education, including Dean of Nursing at Oregon Coast Community College, National Manager of Simulation Operations at Chamberlain College of Nursing, Director of Labs and Simulation at Grand Canyon University, Dean of Assessment at the University of Phoenix, and nursing faculty. Crystal’s work focuses on developing methods to engage students to reduce nursing student attrition, preparing nursing students for clinical practice, advancing simulation-based learning, and strengthening academic programs. Her clinical background is in the ER and Neuro-Trauma ICU.

As Dean of Nursing, Crystal manages the operations and support of the Core Nursing students and faculty.

Warren J. Glen has over fifteen years of experience in post-secondary education. His journey in higher education has enhanced his expertise to administer grants, manage deliverables, and mentor and motivate young scholars.

Currently, he is the area sponsor for the Ohio Department of Education community schools of northeast Ohio. Dr. Glen previously oversaw the Northeast Region of Drop-Out recovery high schools for Oakmont Education. His responsibilities included budget management and supervision of school directors. During his second year, he successfully assisted with increasing the conversion rate by 3% in the Northeast Region of Ohio as well as implemented a diversity, equity, and inclusion program.

Prior to his current role, Dr. Glen was the Director of the Student Support Services TRiO Program at Cuyahoga Community College’s Eastern Campus, in Cleveland (OH). He led his team in support of first generation college students in the areas of tutoring, college completion, cultural events, and transfer to four-year colleges and universities. He began his career at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) as the Director of the Educational Talent Search TRiO Program where he increased campus and community partnerships as well as established and maintained working relationships with area secondary schools and educational institutions. During Tri-C’s two-year grant, Mr. Glen presented several times on the Educational Talent Search TRiO and the Priority 2: Budget Management and Statutory/Regulatory Requirements in Cleveland (OH), Lansing (MI), and Lewiston (ID).

Dr. Glen is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Nu Chapter. Dr. Glen successfully completed the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) with the National Council on Black American Affairs, an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges.

He recently received the degree of Doctor of Education with an emphasis in Community College Leadership from National American University. He earned his Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education, Social Studies, Sociology and Psychology from the University of Toledo (OH). Mr. Glen also earned a Master of Education degree in Education Administration, Secondary Administration from Cleveland State University, in Cleveland (OH).

Dr. Glen is a bow-tie expert and enjoys mentoring young African American males in the art. A few of his volunteer efforts include mentoring scholars enrolled in the Black American Council and organizing the Books Brothers Engagement to Graduation Event which is a Black Male Initiative Program at Cuyahoga Community College.

Mary joined Arizona College of Nursing in November 2024 and comes with 13 years of experience in higher education; 10 of which are specialized in financial aid. She took a 6-year mortgage industry break but found herself missing the higher education field and transitioned back into financial aid in 2023.

As the Director of Financial Aid, Mary combines a passion for helping others, expertise, and professionalism to create meaningful outcomes for the people she serves with her strong foundation in federal aid regulations and comprehensive understanding of financial aid processes.

Kelli Adams joined Arizona College of Nursing in July of 2023, bringing 16 years of experience in higher education enrollment, recruitment, and leadership. She previously served on the National Admissions team, supporting students nationwide, and is committed to advancing institutional goals through exceptional service.

As Executive Director of Enrollment Services, Kelli leads the daily operations of student admissions and is dedicated to fostering a positive, student-centered enrollment experience at Arizona College of Nursing.

Dr. Mullink is the Dean of Nursing at Arizona College of Nursing – St. Louis, where she provides executive leadership for nursing programs with a focus on accreditation excellence, academic quality, faculty development, and student outcomes. She is an accomplished nursing education leader with deep expertise in CCNE accreditation, clinical partnerships, and data‑driven quality improvement.

Dr. Mullink has led and supported complex accreditation initiatives, including securing a 10‑year CCNE reaccreditation for an MSN program, and is recognized for her ability to translate accreditation standards into sustainable operational and educational practices. Her background includes senior academic leadership roles in higher education, extensive experience building multi‑state clinical partnerships, and a strong commitment to faculty excellence and inclusive, student‑centered learning environments.

She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Educational Leadership and is a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), bringing both strategic vision and practical expertise to advancing nursing education.

Abbey has developed a strong foundation in student support and academic operations with over six years of experience in the education field. She previously served in the clinical coordination role at the Las Vegas campus of Arizona College of Nursing, where she facilitated clinical placements and supported nursing students in meeting program requirements. After relocating to Cincinnati in 2025, she became an Academic Records Manager, overseeing student records, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the integrity of academic processes. Abbey is passionate about supporting student success and seeing students thrive through education.

Before joining Arizona College of Nursing in 2023, Chrissy worked as a Senior Financial Advisor for 10 years, where she supported students with navigating the path to higher education. As Director of Financial Aid at Arizona College of Nursing, she specializes in guiding students through the financial aid processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and developing efficient systems that support both student success and institutional goals.

Chrissy’s expertise is in financial aid packaging, program development, and operational streamlining, all driven by a passion for increasing access to education. With a proven track record of improving processes and building meaningful relationships, she brings both professionalism and a people-first approach to her work.
