TAMPA (Bloom)- Registered nurse and nurse educator with the Arizona College of Nursing Dr. Jeff Tabor joins Gayle Guyardo, host of the nationally syndicated health and wellness show Bloom to discuss health issues men often ignore.

Men will put their health on the back burner because they are concerned about everyone else in the family. They prioritize taking care of loved ones over themselves. There can also be a sense of embarrassment about admitting something is wrong, especially when it comes to mental health.

Here are some health issues then men will often ignore:

  • Breast enlargement or tenderness
  • Frequent Urination
  • New skin growths
  • Joint pain in your big toe
  • Mood Swings

All of these can lead to bigger issues, so it is important that if you are experiencing symptoms to get them checked out. Admitting you have a health problem weather its mental or physical is a strength not a weakness.
