PHOENIX, AZ, August, 31, 2022 — Kristine Furtaw of Arizona College of Nursing was named administrator of the year by the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges (FAPSC).

Kristine Furtaw serves as Executive Director of Academic Operations for Arizona College of Nursing’s Tampa campus. Her responsibilities include managing campus operations, overseeing all faculty and staff, and promoting initiatives that lead to student success. Furtaw has more than 19 years of experience directing regional operations, driving growth initiatives, and cultivating relationships to build teams. She holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Central Michigan University. She is also pursuing an Ed.D. in Leadership specializing in Organizational Psychology.
The FAPSC Administrator of the Year Award recognizes administrators who demonstrate outstanding performance, provide exemplary support, encourage excellence, and contribute to the attainment of institutional goals. FAPSC was established in 1956 with the mission to provide leadership, support, and advocacy for quality career education in Florida.
