Why Arizona College of Nursing is Right for You
Find out why thousands of students have chosen AZCN
Your Path Forward Starts Here
Your nursing career begins long before you see your first patient. It begins with the program you choose. That’s why it matters to find a program where preparing nurses isn’t just part of the mission, it is the mission.
Nursing school is an investment of your time, money, and energy, and it deserves a program singularly committed to your future success as a nurse. At AZCN, nursing is the only focus, which means every person you learn from, every resource available to you, and every part of the experience here exists to prepare you for exactly that.

In 2026, Arizona College of Nursing continues to be recognized as one of the top nursing schools in the U.S., earning top spots in state and local rankings by leading nursing and education organizations. 2026 ranking reports published by Niche.com, RegisteredNursing.org, and Nurse.org have all featured one or more AZCN campuses, highlighting our dedication to student support and success.
A Program That Works with Your Schedule
Balancing school with work and family responsibilities is likely one of your biggest concerns going into this decision. Your program should support your life, not compete with it.
That’s why our program is built with real flexibility in mind. Some non-clinical courses are offered fully online in an asynchronous format so you can complete them on your own time. General education requirements blend evening classes with virtual sessions, and clinical courses are structured to build the hands-on skills your career will depend on. With new sessions opening roughly every eight weeks, you have multiple opportunities throughout the year to get started. That flexibility allows you to choose a timeline that fits your plans.
Paying for School Shouldn’t Feel Overwhelming

Understanding how you’ll pay for your nursing degree is just as important as choosing the right program. The good news is that there are more options available to you than you might realize, and you won’t have to sort through them alone.
Whether you’re coming in as a first-generation student, a working adult, or a military veteran, there are financial aid options, for those who qualify, designed for people in your situation. Federal grants, loans, state-based programs, and veteran education benefits are all part of what may be available to you.
Once you have a clear picture of your options, the path forward feels a lot more manageable. Our financial aid team will help you review your options and walk you through the process step by step.
You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone
The resources you need to succeed in nursing school are built into your experience here. Tutoring and study resources are available to support you academically, and success coaches are here to help you stay on track more broadly. Dedicated NCLEX prep support means exam day feels like a milestone, not a hurdle.
Small class sizes mean your instructors know who you are and can give you genuine, personalized attention, so when something doesn’t click, you can get help before it becomes a bigger issue. The relationships you build with faculty and fellow students become part of how you grow throughout the program.
