Michael Villanella
Executive Director of Enrollment Services
Michael Villanella is the Executive Director of Enrollment Services at the Arizona College of Nursing, Tempe campus. Prior to joining Arizona College, Michael served as the Chief Enrollment Officer at Shawnee State University and previously held progressive leadership roles at Kean University, where he led different aspects of admissions, advising, and corporate partnerships. He brings more than 16 years of experience in higher education enrollment management, including admissions, financial aid, registrar operations, bursars, enrollment marketing, and student success. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training and is passionate about creating clear, supportive pathways that help students achieve their academic and career goals. Originally from New Jersey and now based in Tempe, he is committed to fostering meaningful student experiences through collaborative leadership, data‑informed strategy, and a student‑first approach.
