Medical assistants facilitate communication between the patient care team and other healthcare entities, including pharmacies, referring physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. They act as liaisons between physicians and their patients, and assist with relaying information about things like laboratory test results or prescribed treatment plans. Dental assistants work alongside dentists and dental hygienists to provide patient care during procedures and examinations. Medical billers and coders (also referred to as health information specialists, medical billing and coding specialists, or medical information specialists) work to ensure the quality and accuracy of medical records and billing accounts. Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. They work as part of a team filling prescriptions by preparing and dispensing pharmaceutical drugs to customers or other healthcare professionals. Health care administrators (HCAs) oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of various health care organizations and provide leadership within medical practices or other health care settings.

Sessions start every 5 weeks and we have convenient morning and evening classes available. In addition, we offer Hybrid Online / In-Person classes in 4 of our healthcare career programs.
