Medical Billing & Coding Program
Arizona College’s Medical Billing & Coding diploma program includes a mixture of online and in-person classes, along with a 5-week clinical externship that provides you with real-world healthcare experience. Including the externship, the program length is approximately 30 weeks (6 quarters).
30-week undergraduate diploma program offered at our Glendale & Mesa Campuses. Medical Billing and Coding (or Health Information) is an exciting and rewarding allied health field that can allow you to enter the medical field without providing direct patient care.
Healthcare Administration
30-week associate of applied science degree program offered 100% online through our Glendale campus. HCA coursework features a comprehensive academic curriculum that includes coursework with an emphasis on management while preparing you to support the business side of a health office.
Our health administration courses cover training on the computer skills required for your administrative role and are taught by experienced faculty. The healthcare administration degree is a 100% online program.

Medical assistants facilitate communication between the patient care team and other healthcare entities, including pharmacies, referring physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. They act as liaisons between physicians and their patients, and assist with relaying information about things like laboratory test results or prescribed treatment plans. Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. They work as part of a team filling prescriptions by preparing and dispensing pharmaceutical drugs to customers or other healthcare professionals. Health care administrators (HCAs) oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of various health care organizations and provide leadership within medical practices or other health care settings.
Massage therapists use touch to manipulate soft-tissue muscles of the body, providing beneficial treatments and relief from pain. One of their key responsibilities is identifying appropriate therapeutic treatments for their clients. Massage therapy practitioners can provide different types of bodywork, including deep-tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Healthcare Career Tools For Your Success
Our Career Services team offers job search support and employment services to all Arizona College students and graduates, providing valuable tips and tools for resumes, cover letters, job applications, and preparing for interviews. We also provide our students support with conflict resolution, on-the-job success, networking, and planning for your future.
New students will receive an iPad and Bluetooth keyboard included in their tuition, to use throughout school and keep upon graduation. This includes all programs with the exception of Massage Therapy. For students who started the program 3/4/2024 and beyond they will receive a Massage Table Kit which will be provided prior to completion of the third session.

Driving Distance From Glendale to Tempe
The distance from Arizona College – Glendale to the Tempe, AZ area is about 20 miles or 30 minutes of driving.

Driving Directions
- From the Tempe area, get on the AZ-202/AZ-202 Loop traveling West through Phoenix.
- Take the I-10 W exit and then take Arizona Veterans Memorial Hwy (I-17 N) to Black Canyon Access Rd.
- From I-17 N, take exit 207
- Lastly, take W Dunlap Ave toward Windsor Square and you will see Arizona College located in the Brookwood Commerce Centre on your left.
Driving Distance: Glendale to Phoenix
The driving distance from the Downtown Phoenix area to our Glendale Allied Health School is about 12 miles and takes about 20 minutes.

Driving Directions
- From Downtown Phoenix, head west on West Washington Street and take a right onto North 7th Avenue right after the Phoenix Police Department headquarters building.
- Take North 7th Avenue and get on I-17 N to Black Canyon Access Rd.
- Take exit 207 from I-17 N
- Finally, take the exit onto W Dunlap Ave past Cortez Park and you will see Arizona College – Glendale on the left located in the Brookwood Commerce Centre.
How Far is Scottsdale from Glendale?
Driving from the Scottsdale area to our Allied Health school in Glendale takes about 35 minutes and is a distance of about 17 miles.

Driving Directions
- From the Scottsdale area, get to North Scottsdale Road and follow it up to travel west on East Camelback Road toward the Biltmore area.
- Continue on East Camelback Road Drive and turn right on North 32nd Street after the Biltmore Commerce Center.
- Take a left onto East Lincoln Drive and continue onto West Glendale Avenue until taking a right onto North 43rd Avenue after passing La Pradera Park on your left.
- Arizona College – Glendale will be on your left, located in the Brookwood Commerce Centre.
