## Why Choose Our Nursing Program in Detroit?

At AZCN, our Southfield campus in Detroit is built around the things that matter
most to aspiring nurses: community, personalized support, and a curriculum
designed by experienced RNs. You’ll find a campus culture that takes your goals
seriously and gives you the support to pursue them.

Every aspect of our nursing program in Michigan is designed to help you grow
into a confident, compassionate caregiver ready to earn your BSN degree and make
an impact in the field.

## Connect With Fellow Nursing Students

From your first term, you’ll be part of an energetic group of current and
aspiring nurses who push each other forward. The friendships you make here often
turn into professional connections, since everyone around you is working toward
becoming a registered nurse.

Every member of our core nursing faculty is a registered nurse who knows
firsthand what it takes to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and build
a career in the field. Drawing on that experience, they give you individualized
support, share what their own careers have taught them, offer practical
guidance, and connect you with resources like study groups and peer mentoring.

### Focused Entirely on Your Nursing Future

When you study at Arizona College of Nursing – Southfield, you’re never
competing with other majors for attention. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(BSN) is the only degree we offer, so every instructor and staff member you meet
is focused on helping you become a registered nurse. Ask a question or hit a
rough patch, and you’ll get practical answers from people who know the path
well.

That focus carries into the classroom too. Experienced nurses and healthcare
professionals shaped our BSN curriculum to ready you for patient care now and
leadership later. We’re helping prepare the next generation of nurses who will
lead the field, and we’d love to see you among them.

### The Benefit of a Smaller Classroom

Keeping classes small is a deliberate choice at our nursing program in
Southfield, and it means your instructors can focus more closely on each
student. With fewer people in the room, you get more one-on-one feedback and the
time to learn nursing science concepts, build your clinical skills, and prepare
for the career ahead.

## Start Dates Throughout the Year

At Arizona College of Nursing – Southfield, you don’t have to wait for a
standard school calendar. New general education sessions start about every eight
weeks. New nursing major cohorts begin three times a year. That means a fall or
spring start isn’t your only choice, so you can begin when the timing works for
you.

Arizona College of Nursing – Southfield requires no prerequisite coursework to
begin a BSN program. Whether you’re just beginning the path to nursing or
arriving with transfer credits, there’s a potential route to your goal at

Many students who pursue a BSN degree come with prior experience, perhaps as a
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or an ADN-prepared Registered Nurse (RN), or with
education in fields outside nursing. If you’ve earned general education credits
before, you may be able to transfer them. Doing so can put you on track to
