Our Pharmacy Technician program was built to prepare students for a career in pharmaceuticals. Not only does the program hold a strong focus on classroom education, but you’ll also receive an off-site externship following the program’s completion.
- Complete In About 8 Months: This includes your externship, so upon completion you’ll have gained your diploma and the hands-on experience necessary to excel in the field
- Classes Start About Every 5 Weeks: With new class sessions beginning about every 5 weeks, so you’ll never need to wait long to start your future!
- Online / In-Person hybrid learning: Our program helps you balance school and everyday life with a mix of online and in-person classes
- Two Convenient Campus Locations: Choose from our Glendale or Mesa campus for easy access from anywhere in the Phoenix area
New students will receive an iPad and Bluetooth keyboard included in their tuition, to use throughout school and keep upon graduation

Arizona College’s Pharmacy Technician curriculum includes:
- Hands-on training in pharmacology, medical terminology & documentation, drug prescription information, and drug abbreviations.
- Modern facilities and sterile pharmacy laboratories with laminar flow hoods, ointment slabs, prescription balances, counting trays, pill crushers, and other high-tech teaching aids.
- Pharmacy management software & computer training.
