# Allied Health Programs Offered at Our New Mesa Campus Location

**Occupancy for Arizona College’s new Mesa campus, located at 163 N. Dobson, is planned for this November with recruitment beginning shortly after for those who wish to start their chosen allied health training program in January 2013!**

A wide variety of programming will be available for students at Arizona
College’s new Mesa campus, including the following career paths:

**[Medical Billing and Coding](https://www.arizonacollege.edu/all-programs/medical-billing-coding/)**
– Medical Billing and Coding is an allied health career field for those with
strong organizational and data management skills. Our programs feature billing
and coding training and the opportunity to gain real-world experience in this
field through an externship prior to graduation.

**[Dental Assisting](https://www.arizonacollege.edu/all-programs/dental-assisting/dental-assistant/)**
– For those who enjoy working closely with patients, are good at multitasking,
and have strong communication skills, Dental Assisting is a great fit. Dental
Assistants play a vital role in a busy medical environment with responsibilities
including everything from taking X-rays, to assisting the dentist during
cleanings and procedures, to providing patients with postoperative care and
instruction.

**[Medical Assisting](https://www.arizonacollege.edu/all-programs/medical-assisting/medical-assistant/)**
– Medical Assisting involves performing a variety of tasks to keep the medical
office running smoothly. Daily tasks can include prepping patients for exams,
checking vital signs, and collecting medical histories, as well as a variety of
administrative duties. Like Health Information Technology, the Medical Assisting
track offers prospective students the choice of earning either a diploma or an
associate degree.

**[Pharmacy Tech](https://www.arizonacollege.edu/all-programs/pharmacy-technician/)**
– This technical line of work demands individuals with meticulous attention to
detail. Pharmacy Technicians work in busy pharmacy settings and play a crucial
role in providing quality patient care by acting as the gatekeepers of
prescribed medications, compounds, and devices.
